That's an exaggeration. Strewth, I've had to skip=120 almost every time I've checked my Friends (when I've had the chance). This holiday has made me realise exactly how much time I get to spend with my head stuck in cyberspace.
And how much I miss my Semagic. ;)
Found two interesting links to give a little more advertising to, not that they didn't come from people with huuuuge Friends lists to start with. ;)
A theory about Voldemort's influence
An essay on the misuse of the term, 'Mary Sue'
Thank you kindly for sharing the info,

The weather in Portland finally decided to remember it's supposed to be an analog for Wales -- after pretending to be dry Miami weather, it's finally cooled off to the point where my feet are freezing here in
sit_good_dog's GORGEOUS house.
I'm typing this, in fact, instead of getting dressed so we can leave to go prowl around and get to
sunny_daylee. I HAD to UPDATE, don't you know?
Anyway, the house looks like Architectural Digest only with real people living in it. All wood and huge windows and Space. Yum. I am, I must confess, surprised by the lack of Stuff Everywhere, as I am a packrat and would have this place cluttered up in a matter of weeks, easily, if it were mine.
Most of the cats don't like me much. :(
I'm also having trouble keeping up on a href="http://pub152.ezboard.com/bdogstaracademy">Dogstar Academy, just because I've been doing anything except sitting in front of a PC. At least I've got company -- I know a lot of the other players on the RPG are having, for instance, school get in the way of the important things. ;)
Found this interesting quote in a Portland-area free weekly newspaper, Willamette Week, Volume 29, Issue 47, September 24, 2003.
It's the last two paras by The Nose, on page 7. The column itself is about the 'Portland Six' who were arrested for being a terrorist cell.
The paragraphs I found most interesting, I quote:
I'd best leave this right now and get going, so we can leave before sunset or something (at my usual speed of departure!). We shall be... [portentous music sting]On The Road![/music]

The Nose has no illusions that the Portland Seven are innocent. This Keystone cartel obviously broke some laws and ought to be punished. And the Nose doesn't dispute that Saddam Hussein is a really, really bad man.
But by constantly overplaying their hands, President George W. Bush, John Ashcroft and the rest of the gang undermine the support of folks like the Nose. Support they need to mobilize against the genuaine forces of evil, which, as the Associated Press reminded us this week, really do exist.
