Because there were none in the house, and I'd have to put on proper trousers and stuff to go out to a 24-hour supermarket.

Hmm, check, pretzels. Diet Pepsi and pretzels. I'll have them on the list for when you're here, unless you want to get re-dressed and go to the nearest all-night superdupermarket and buy snack foods, which I've also been known to do.

In fact, I grew up on pretzels and I can still hear my mom threatening that I'd turn into one if I kept eating them. Hasn't worked so far, but I'll keep trying.
