Not a clue.

I do know that his agent at the time PoA was getting cast is a rude bugger who sucks dead rat through a straw (thank you, Emma Bull) as far as I'm concerned - so if he's still working as hard as he was then for Jason [/sarcasm], Jason's busy being a dad, and getting bit parts, or big parts in orphaned movies with no release backing.

There are very likely extenuating circumstances or suchlike of which I am completely unaware. All I can speak to, for certain, is that I spoke to his agent once about my Sirius Black campaign, and the man dodged my calls (not honestly refused to take them, just dodged them) while I was trying to get HIS client a plum role. One he would have been interested in doing, from the character aspect, not just the visibility.

Rudeness is NOT acceptable. And a little support from other than equally-powerless friends/fellow fen during that would have been nice.
