Progress report, colour coded for your convenience

But first...

Cowboy Bebop Personality Quiz

* Phone is WORKING! The procedure and software reset fixed it without a swap needed.

* Still no known ride to Crown Lyst, which will be much cheaper than D*Con assuming... I go. I could take Herne, but... I'd want somebody shadowing me on the way back at the very least, so I wouldn't be stuck on I-95 alone, bored beyond belief and frustrated beyond tolerance if something happened.

* The room where most of my books and stuff are stored until I can clean out the dining room has been soaked by a leaking air conditioner. Hello, mildew and ruined paper products....

* The anticipated headache has finally gone away, after 3 Excedrin Quicktabs, 2 Benedryl and 2 more aspirin.

* Diet Pepsi Vanilla may not be an acceptable substitute for Diet Vanilla Coke after all. This is distressing in a minor way.

* LiveJournal is, obviously, back up. This is ALWAYS good.

* D'Argo is still gawdawfully adorable.

* Still a baaaaaad herald.

* $140 error fixed with very little fussing by the vendor. Is (are) beautiful.

* Got to be driven in a Vibe (stickshift) tonight. I won't do manual, after my terrifying experience in Seattle. Want to make up my mind and get this over with....

* Got [livejournal.com profile] perceval's books packed up for mailing! And my ghillies to go back to Medieval Moccasins for repair. It's only taken about two months for the books, and fiveish for the shoes....

Well... that's more good than bad, I guess, isn't it? [wry grin]

Are Vash and Spike 'just' bishie, or is there something special about the way they're drawn?

Seattle is a very bad place to try and drive a manual.

Mmmm...Vanilla Coke. I had some for the first time last week (I never thought of ordering it until then, teehee) and 'tis good stuff :)

Oh, and here is Sirius to give you a sympathetic look.

They are plodding their dear-GHOD-why-is-this-so-expensive! way to you as I type. Should be about a week, I think.

That's a lot of pills. Be careful, dear. If it's taking that many you might want to see a doctor and get prescription meds.

And that is more good than bad. Yay! :D

[identity profile] sff-corgi.livejournal.com 2003-08-29 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
Pfft -- aspirin, acetominaphen, caffeine mostly. Normal doses of OTC meds. Never went anywhere near the 660mgs of naproxen sodium, honest.

And I hate doctors. Except Dr. Bonner.

Well, as long as you know what you're doing.

Mmm.... Spike.... mmm......

And don't worry, when you're here you can drive my car to your heart's content. It's an automatic and it works just fine if we end up in Seattle. Or San Francisco. Two places I wouldn't want to drive a stick either.

Imagine, cruise control all the way down the Oregon coast. Sand dunes, sea lions, puffins, grey whales, good music. Gawd, we could even go to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Wax Museum in funky downtown Newport (nowhere near as fun as Mme Tussaud's in London though). This trip might take days.

Or, we could just spend the whole time watching anime and taste-testing different variations of Coke and Pepsi. Your call.
