Jobbish update
For those who may have been following my petty drama, here's the situation: As of last Friday (the 16th), I was an officially unemployed person. I can claim severance pay, which I'll file for next week, in case something comes of the other department's contract bid works out. In the meantime, my friend Debbie had recommended me for a position at her workplace, for which I interviewed today.
It surprised us both when a 'Quality Engineer' turns out to be only worth US$9.00/hr.
Meanwhile, because of an opening at Amadeus, I found myself updating my Monster profile and resume, deleted old search parameters and made my resume searchable (it wasn't before? Puzzling.).
...And I've had calls because of it. Including what seems to be a pretty firm offer in North Miami for $16/hr. We'll see in a day or two. :)

(Fine, let's see any of them rebuild Hayden, Colorado without a book open.)
Debbie and I are wondering, despite him having said 'engineer', if he was really looking at the clerk position. The Purchasing dept. had a gofer position that would have paid roughly the same, if I remember correctly.
