Well... now there's also a brand-new puppy (just the one, from all evidence) on site. No, Cait, don't have a heart attack, it's Girl's. Apparently she takes after Summer, though, with the sneaky thing.

I will have to see if there are any farms for sale in the area at the rate you are going. Don't suppose Girl can be fixed immediately, or is that another myth?

Not a great idea while she's nursing, but there's money involved, too, even if I can get an appointment. She'll be staying in the kitchen, though; Baby shouldn't be out in the heat and dirt (although she made herself a rather nice little nest).

If only. Girl's a little dark-brindle mutt of some sort, and the daddy's probably Dog, who's... a bigger dark mutt of some sort.

So the puppy is black... and... canine... and... who knows what else.
