I've put up 20 flyers so far

I managed to coax my HP LJ6L to crank out something legible (old toner, much dust) and put them on stop signs, at intersections, the gate to the park, the post office (not sure if they'll leave it up).... I had three kids wondering how much the reward is rush up to me, so we'll see if Kid Power does better than Herald Power. I'll take the cardstock to work - they're desperate for me to work at least a half-shift - and see if the Xerox can feed it; if not, I'll just have to use plain paper. I need more tape.

I haven't slept yet. My head's hurting, and all my clothes were dirty, so now I've got to wait through the wash cycle so they have time to dry. Better wrinkled than sweaty.

I was having such fun this week, and considering coming off wearing high mourning a little early, too. *sigh* Belated Lammas, belated Sirius Heliocentric Rising Day.

Here in Texas, it's 3 days- when I lost Miko on 1999 (he was never found), I visited every Wednesday and Saturday- that meant I saw every single dog that came in before they were euthanized.

I'm leaving in about a half-hour. I can get my own stuff done and it's a half-shift. I loaded PSP 10 there finally, so I can grab some photos and see which one will reduce to B&W the best (no colour printing there, of course).

Okay, wild thought -- have you taken D'Argo out on a lead with you to look for her? Or maybe Meissa would be a better choice?, don't know. But you'd know, I think, who'd be best at tracking her, or finding her, or luring her out of a hiding place ...? Two sets of eyes is better than one set, and all of them have better noses than you do .....

I think I tried that, with D'Argo, when Aeryn wandered off, but he didn't know how to look for her even if I could have communicated that to him. It's a good thought, but when you're wandering around in the heat, it makes less sense. :/
