I managed to hear the beginning to Randi Rhodes's radio show yesterday, having been stuck on a call and therefore taking dinner late (it's at 17:00, it ain't lunch any more *gloom*). She ran a clip from the soi-disant President's speech yesterday in which he compared culturally-Islamic extremism/terrorism to Communism.

Aside from the obviously poor choice of comparison (which Randi promptly mocked indignantly) it hit me in an appropriately thunderbolt-like fashion. He's trying to re-establish a 'Cold War', so he can be Zeus to his father's Ouranous. He wants to 'beat the Commies' allll over again. He's trying to one-up Daddy with the world and her people as mere props, isn't he?
