...featuring Susan Fox-Davis ([livejournal.com profile] selenesue) [SCA: Dame Selene Colfox], building the perfect bread pudding circa 1845. Also some steamy b-roll of Yorkshire Pudding with roast beef.

On cable's Food Network, of course.

Absolutely! Did you get to see her Pie episode/segment, too? (They didn't have her on long enough, of course.)

I got a full segment on the Pie show, I am quite satisfied.

The Pudding segment should be lotsa fun. There's a long spell where I insist that the bread needs to soak for two hours or whatever, then cook for another two hours, so there's some "time passes" footage of Jim and I playing Go Fish. The Slow Food Movement lives!

I was surprised to see this scheduled quite this soon; Master Huen [Jim Matterer]in Pittsburgh is shooting a seg on Birthday Cake about 2nd week of April. Huen put them in contact with me in the first place, after he appeared on the show making Trenchers [arguably the original Open Faced Sandwich] so I'm grateful to him. To the best of my knowlege, we are the only SCAdians involved in the show.

One of these days, you'll have to show me Master Huen's segments (unless they're on that disc you burned too?).
