I'm being concatenated today or something, because I followed this link to niftykeen OoP art from
twitchycat's LJ, and as a result, found out why Robyn is annoyed with Pottermania. She makes a good point, she does.
mudron also led me to fodder for the Siblinghood of Egypt (motto: We're in De Nile) written by Jenn Manley Lee ( who does a gorgeous web-comic called Dicebox). She has a very pertinent, layer-y thought about... you know. That.

Harry in the Ministry atrium after his hearing, looking at the fountain:
He looked up into the handsome wizard's face, but up close Harry thought he looked rather weak and foolish..
Think this is a not-too-subtle comment on the state of wizarding culture?

mamarama may be a wonderful person, I don't know; but her colourscheme may be lethal.
The pathology on D'Argo's 'blob' came back -- and it was a Type 1 malignant tumour. HOWEVER! The margins, despite being narrow, did test clear, and it had other characteristics which make it unlikely to be a continuing problem in itself. On the other hand, he's a white Boxer, which means his immune system is likely to scream and faint when challenged. ¡Ai!
