All hail the Kzinrret 'Speaker to Business'!

[livejournal.com profile] greeneyedkzin has adopted me from LinkedIn (a business networking site) and SFF Net, and has been helping me make my resume better along with the recommendations of Lee Hecht Harrison, a career transition company whose services were provided to me as part of my severance.

Anyway, she's been going over things I flang at her feet, and she's still working on an Idea, but she said '...you're far more than tech support.  You've got astonishing project management skills.'

WHEE! See, all this time I just needed somebody to be able to translate 'herald' into something [Gwynne] The Powers That Be [/Gwynne]. In the tradition of Kzin culture, and since she's female, completely counter to it at the same time, she must be named 'Speaker to Business'.

I'm tired of Semagic losing all my settings and macros. You're stuck with a plain horizontal rule for now, because I wanted to share a couple of posts I found by serendipity, Google and this lady: Sure, it's a year old or so, but I hadn't seen any of it before and still entirely worth reading.

Bzuh?!

I sheepishly admit: she was someone we worried about on 9/11 until I remembered she didn't work at the World Trade Center but the World Financial Center. That's a blessing, I guess.

I read Ysabella's posting... her lord is Paul of Bellatrix' younger son Brion. She's a gem, and this post really crystallizes it. "What would Sue of Bellatrix do?" Aha, another confirmation that Susans Rule The Universe! ::grin, duck, run::
