rozberk is helping me out with some utilities, and Dell is sending me a replacement set of recovery CDs — the fact that the diagnostic partition functioned fine made the tech I talked to think there's an 80% chance of us fixing the problem w/o hardware replacement. Anyway, until then, I'm likely to be hard off-line (unless Roz's software lets me connect after all).
Just so you know.
(Right now, Debbie's letting me abuse her PC to do puppypictures, long overdue, and e-mail and stuff. Yay, Debbie!)
