Ambush Cold: Day Three

I have reached a stage of complete croakiness with discomfort in the chest. I don't know how I'm gonna take calls this way, but so far I'm avoiding them... but not for long. Wish I could have stayed home, but I don't know how much sick time I've got left, and it's only March.

At home, I can't tell what's worse -- mouse gnawing or puppy gnawing. The mice do this stealth-squeaking thing, avoid the traps (little gits) and even managed to scrape through a plastic jar to get at the kibble inside. I have deployed Tabasco in a desperate attempt to chase them away.

The puppies, after Exhibits 1-4 (see previous posts) decided that my bedside water-bottles didn't really need caps. And Gemma has an unsettling interest in a toilet brush. They have been known to gleefully drag underwear into the living room. I have deployed Tabasco in a desperate attempt to keep the couch in one piece.

(The puppies are, however, easier to catch. Not catch at it, just catch.)
