Oh no, a flood!
Dec. 11th, 2003 09:26 pm.
Be quixotic.
Well, my main surfing PC is down. It just won't power on. I hates it, my precioussss. I paid HP US$30 for the robot-boy at the other end of the script (I swear I think I heard flipping pages) to tell me there's a problem with the motherboard.
Cusswords.
So I'm stuck using: the Compaq running Windows 3.1 (don't laugh, I'm invulnerable to viruses, nyah); the Treo using Blazer, which I can now only charge at work or in my car; or work connectivity. I miss my Semagic LJ client!!
Bah.
However... I just got an e-mail back from my friend who was the PC's original owner, and she suggested something I can try before throwing up my hands and borrowing money. Keep yer paws crossed for me. ;)

In reference to
sit_good_dog's received Bow-Lingual poem, ( rambleramble )

I had all these links I wanted to share with you lot, and couldn't do a thing about it last night... [/whinge]

It's a VERY small cyberverse.

immovablemover did indeed answer my request in this post. I'm going to quote her just a little bit without her specific permission, so T., let me know if you want me to edit this out.
One of the things she said was 'I think the label "slash," and slash as a genre, is an answer to that--to all of the people that don't like or simply haven't considered the idea of homosexual relationships in fanfic.'
OK... and 'But I DO wish slash as a GENRE would go away ... just because it would reflect well on the people with whom I share a fandom.'
Shen, woman, it'd reflect well on the people with whom you share a citizenship. *grin*
So... it's only gonna start with us, y'know. There is no great arbiter of fandom culture which will say 'Slash ends here,' as you well know. See the romance-genre notes up-post a bit, and let's see if that can go anywhere.
Lastly, she said she wanted me to answer
musesfool's question about if either Remus or Sirius were depicted as XX, would I see them as a couple then?
( rambly answer )

And lastly, I guess I'll post this:
Which one of the Justice League (cartoon) are you?
