Much randomness: Dreams, HP and iconage

Not that I'm using this as a dream diary, but these snippets I find so... bemusing, I'm thinking you-all might find them at least slightly entertaining.
This time I was in the middle of a cinematic-X-men mission of some sort -- many shiny black uniforms, and high-tech... but it felt like this was something they'd done very early on, because it seemed a little fumbling. I can't even remember who was involved -- didn't notice Wolverine -- and I seemed to be the omnicient observer rather than one of the heroes.
Then somehow it 'segued' into me as myself driving a hired Mini or somesuch in Maidenhead in the rain. I've never had the nerve to try driving in Britain, I've never been in Maidenhead, and I'm not sure what I was supposed to be doing there, except I had something in my mind about a 'cursed' area I was kind of interested in looking at. I kept getting tickets at parking meters from the traffic wardens and when I tried to leave to get back to the hotel, I started having problems with the steering and got much more upset.
So odd.
sit_good_dog and I are both re-listening to the Dementor-in-Hardcover, except I've been able to get far ahead of her from listening in the car, coming and going. We're both hating it again, except of course this time instead of formless dread, we've got horrified anticipation.
Jim Dale does 'Weasley is our king' much better; Stephen Fry's Dobby is squeakier, and there's a few other things I like which I keep forgetting. Jim read the name of Arthur Weasley's ward as 'Dangerous! Dai Llewelyn Ward,' which was wrong; Stephen got it correct. I'm wondering if Jim had been rushed.
Something I noticed in both readings is that there's several sequences where people (characters) are repeating things a lot, especially Hagrid's story of his mission. It doesn't seem anywhere as obvious when you're reading, but when you're hearing the same phrases over and over in such a short span of time, it comes off as... kinda stupid, really.
And even more than before, I want to sit most of the cast in McGonagall-chairs in a row, rant at them and slap most of them upside the head, hard. Umbridge's sadism is more apparent -- she's really enjoying making people miserable.
Two questions, one squicky: what House do you think she was? And do you think she was having an affair with Fudge?
Being completely greedy, I am instituting my LiveJournal Auxiliary Userpics. No, 50 is not enough, not when I have to have several Sirius icons, and all those different media fandoms, and.... Sure, it involves typing in tables, but when I've got my Semagic, I can use macros!
And GIP:

For some reason, the swashbuckler one refused to be a decent file size, despite the lack of SFX, and the small number of frames. I tried resizing/reformatting the originals, reassembling the creature, no help. So sorry that it's a bit grainy.
