...that I stopped at the Humane Society yesterday on my way home from work. The Jack Russell of whom I have spoken before was reunited with his humans (a couple and their small son) the other day!

He apparently didn't remember them, but wagged anyway and was quite pleasant to them. He must have been younger than I had any idea, as the family told the H.S. 'Jack' (how creative a name) was just a puppy when he was dognapped from them in February.

His broken leg had been put in a cast, but since the H.S. can't afford an X-ray machine, it hadn't been completely diagnosed. They rushed him right off to a private vet.

So there we have it -- the whole story, from beginning to end, or as much as we need for satisfaction. Well... I feel satisfied with it. Even has a reasonably happy ending.

The dear TLC posted this picture of movie!Sirius in his Azkaban cell.

OK... I'll concede he's looking SOMEWHAT better than I'd thought, at least in this image, but I still have a problem with the striped robes (and the brown eyes).

([livejournal.com profile] heidi8, 'your' boy Rufus doesn't have brown eyes either, eh?!)

This was suggested by [livejournal.com profile] musesfool, and -- as I undoubtedly make [livejournal.com profile] immovablemover squee loudly in vengeful glee -- let me say that this probably explains R/S (not 'illustrates', like, say, Fearsome Business) but explains it better than any attempt I've seen on a forum or wherever.

And since I've been told something very similar about a pair of my RL friends, it makes me say 'Ah...' a bit.

Doesn't convert me, Tori, just makes me say AH! [razzberry]

Gawd, I am so good to you people. [/tease]
