I'd seen him at multiple Omnicons, and it was small enough a con that the attendees got to see much of the guests.

He'd produced pantos over the Christmas holiday as well using Who cast -- and he's the one who made it as much of a show for adults, with sly humour and carefully-buried innuendo, as it remained a children's show.
