"Lies and the Lying Liars...."

So I'm up to about Chapter 15 or so in Al Franken's book (on CD) and... jeez, it reads like one of
jediboadicea's posts.
Only, you know, funnier.
But really -- he draws together all the stuff that I kind of felt was wrong, but wasn't able to quantify, then he documents it. How can they (Bill O'Reilly et al) possibly rebut transcripts and archival documents without resorting to more of the overwhelmingly bully-like neo-con bluster which apparently has pulled the wool over so many citizens' eyes?
('Pulled' as in 'wedgie', mind you.)
If anybody thinks Al's gone totally around the bed, and they have equivalent documentation to refute his points, I'd love to hear from you. No flamewars, please -- point and counterpoint. The righteous right does NOT own the concept 'Fair and Balanced'; however, I can't see that the challenge to refute Al Franken can possibly be met. (G'wan, surprise me! ;) )

Al Franken's Chapter 20 is... concise.
I'm feeling whiny -- you lot have spoiled me for comments, and here I'm posting this nifty flaming-liberal stuff and nobody's sayin' anythin'.
Whah.
;)
In other news, Life keeps insisting on being an annoyance. Nahhh... you don't want the details. I just want it to get to a stopping place -- get caught up on everything, so I can take a breather that doesn't involve lovely people spoiling me rotten (not that that's a BAD thing...).
