Soggy room update
Aug. 29th, 2003 08:08 pmBook toll so far:
* James Hogan SFBC edition I got from Paul (not a big deal)
* Umberto Eco paperback - Focault's Pendulum? (also not a big deal, I didn't like that one all that much)
* SFBC-probably edition of The Visual Guide to Roger Zelazny's Amber (more of a deal - I love guides)
Also, four reams of paper, a 1.5" binder, a very old piece of mail to me as Tanarian :( ... and hopefully not my giant-edition Superman vs. the Flash.
Various amounts of damage to my Law of Hwyel Dda, two of my three National Geographic atlases, my little Collins Welsh Dictionary, an obsolete SCAdian heraldry reference....
And I'm gonna have to tear up the carpet. It's moldy. Yuck. The biggest problem with that is that is that I don't know what I'm going to do to work around the furniture. The dresser and desk, for instance, are sodden at the bottom and somewhat moldy as well.
Vennnnnt, ventventvent.
On the new-car front -- leaning HEAVILY towards the Vibe for its fuel economy and lower ecological impact. Maybe it's a good thing for me to scale down a little. Anybody got any opinions to this effect?
