HP Archives as Marauders

So sit_good_dog and I have been messing around with me (and maybe her) writing some answers to challenges on the Sugar Quill and Gryffindor Tower... then I showed her the Writings With Werewolves forum from the Werewolf Registry's board.

I was saying that the Quill is pretty much into writing for quality and accuracy, where GT has a tendency to be fun and silly (I mean... 'peanut butter jelly time'?), and the WWR goes for the clever, witty stuff.

And I realised that sounds rather like James (eventually), Sirius and Remus... and said we needed an archive like Peter.

So sit_good_dog answers,
You mean one where people wimp out before they finish what they're doing, then betray their friends by stealing their stories and going over to a stronger, more protective site?

*SNARF*

I hate getting this particular headache of mine which usually only comes on AS I'm waking up. G. thinks it's mostly tension, and I'm inclined to agree... with a side of fatigue-poisons.

Anyway, it was partly induced by SCA-guilt, car ponderings (no, no resolution yet other than me allowing them to fix it for about $500. It might give me some margin for scraping together a down payment), and trying to get my Challenge stories in shape for submission.

SQ's had to be in HTML, I'm formatting GT's the same, and that one's almost done -- waiting on some last-minute polishes. Once the contests post, I'll put up both stories at Weird_Sisters as well.

immovablemover said she was surprised I didn't 'do' Bellatrix for the GT Challenge.

I told her it's because it'd be something like:
( [something not appropriate for the purpose] )

See? Not a fun-loving GT sort of thing....
