My thrilling day, so far
Jul. 15th, 2003 05:40 pm.
It is every LiveJournalist's right to, at least intermittently, issue forth with a tedious and vaguely whiney recitation of the events of a fairly dull day.
This, then... is my day. In Quillspeak where appropriate.

- Got to worx 7 minutes late. 'My' corporation is really anal about this when it comes to assessments. I had broken the First Rule of Weekdays: DON'T TOUCH THE PC.
The Second Rule is: DON'T PICK UP THAT READING MATERIAL! - Must pay bills. And bills and bills and my mother's bills. Ew. Nobody warned me effectively about this when I was a kid.
Wait, this makes me think of a good topic for discussion:
What experience, in your adult life, feels like a 'betrayal' of what you learned or felt as a child? In other words, what adult experience keeps surprising you with its existence?
Hmmm, hope that makes sense. - I have this lurking feeling there's something -- other than my herald's report and various other SCAdian responsibilities -- that I'm forgetting something fairly important. This is bad.
- I had another lovely philosophical thought while I was making the left turn into the Publix parking lot, but I didn't write it down. Now, I have A: a Treo and B: no short term memory when I'm sleep-deprived. Why didn't I write it down??
- I am tired of taking phone calls.
- I am not going to Nimbus. I'm starting to feel left out. I'm not going to ComiCon. I'm definitely feeling left out. I'm not ready for Dragon*Con.
- I want a nap.
